Project Description
Our client's ground floor canteen and first floor teapoint in Manchester, has been expertly designed by CMI’s interior design team. Initially, the space was underutilised and lacked the flexible furniture needed to support activities beyond lunch breaks.
About the Project
Our team reimagined the canteen, making it a versatile hub for corporate dining events, training sessions, collaborative work, and everyday use. By introducing materials with natural tones, we brought a touch of the outdoors inside, compensating for the absence of external views. Framed artwork and bold colour blocks add personality and vibrancy to the space. The installation of folding circular tables and stackable chairs allows the area to seamlessly transition between dining and training functions, while soft furnishings create inviting and intimate seating areas. New pendant lighting enhances the ambiance and establishes focal points throughout the canteen.
A detailed view
We engaged with the client team to understand the requirements in detail to ensure innovative ideas were developed to meet the demands of these two spaces. This refurbishment not only rejuvenates the teapoint & canteen but also maximizes its potential as a multifunctional space, supporting our client's diverse needs.
