Project Description
The 9,600sq.ft space accommodates a series of open plan spaces in two separate wings. This workplace has been designed and built to support future growth, featuring 75 workstations thoughtfully arranged across secure and non-secure open-plan zones. Each area includes its own selection of meeting rooms and collaborative workspaces to foster productivity and teamwork. At the heart of the office is a vibrant work lounge, located adjacent to the main reception. Serving as a dynamic hub for both employees and visitors, this space offers a variety of furniture settings designed for working, collaborating, or socialising in a flexible, agile environment. To create a warm and inviting atmosphere, the interior incorporates feature timber finishes, loose rugs, and biophilic design elements. These choices not only enhance the aesthetic but also improve acoustics and support overall employee wellbeing. Furniture was sourced through a dedicated supplier, while CMIA curated textiles and finishes to ensure a cohesive and considered interior design throughout the space.
About the Project
A dedicated demonstration room has been created to present the client's latest innovations and products to their clients and partners. Located within the secure zone of the office, this space has been carefully designed with enhanced acoustic privacy and security measures to ensure confidentiality and a focused experience.
A detailed view
Part of CMIA's design scope for the delivery of the project in conjunction with the contractor included both PD (CDM) and Building Regulations, working closely with the contractor to achieve the required statutory requirements to align with this workplace refurbishment.
